Creating Brighter Futures

Located in Birmingham, Alabama Clinical Schools provides therapy and treatment to patients ages 9 to 21. Our 12-acre campus offers a relaxing setting for youth who are working through mental health disorders, behavioral issues, and sexually reactive behaviors. We provide 24-hour supervision, individualized care, and educational services with low student/teacher ratios, to ensure patients are receiving structured and holistic care. Our campus features semi-private bedrooms, unit group rooms, dining facilities, and spacious grounds within a secure facility.

At Alabama Clinical Schools, we believe early intervention is critical to help youth achieve successful outcomes. Relapse prevention skills are developed to assist our clients with identifying abuse cycles, as well as adapting to high-risk situations with learned and practiced coping skills. Rational Behavior Training and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are used to assist individuals in changing their thinking patterns, emotions, and behavioral responses. Family involvement is another essential component of treatment, so transportation assistance is available for family sessions, as necessary.
